delaware is in the middle of a company‑wide AI transformation; rethinking how 5,000 people learn, deliver, and sell consulting in the AI era. This isn't a PowerPoint exercise; it’s a live program with real initiatives shipping every week.

You will join as the primary execution engine alongside the program lead. You take ownership of key workstreams, build the deliverables, run the rhythm, and ensure things actually ship. As the program matures, you'll evolve into a client‑facing AI transformation consultant; helping enterprise customers navigate their own journey using the playbooks you helped build internally.

Who are we?

We are part of the Business Transformation & Adoption Unit, the BTA Operations team, together with other teams such as the BTA Finance team. Our ambition is to establish new practices within the department, with the ultimate goal of supporting other teams in cross‑functional contexts, focusing on implementations and transformations.

Your team will be a mix of people with backgrounds in different functions and industries; people with a project management profile in both business transformation and technology consulting. This diversity allows us to support customers across a wide range of digital transformation initiatives, including ERP, MES, data‑driven projects, and now AI‑oriented trajectories.

What will you be doing?

Drive AI transformation internally (year 1 focus)

  • Own the AI tooling strategy: licensing decisions, adoption monitoring, tool evaluation (Claude, Copilot, GitHub Copilot, etc.), and ensuring the stack works for consultants in the field.
  • Support AI enablement: contribute to the learning journey, champion network, and hands‑on initiatives where the enablement team needs support.
  • Build the AI sales pipeline: support opportunity development, qualification, proposal writing, and early delivery.
  • Contribute to business model evolution: pricing models and monetization frameworks for AI‑driven consulting.
  • Improve AI asset development: streamline how delaware builds AI solutions; improving workflows, quality gates, documentation; to move faster from POC to production.

Keep the program running

  • Run standups and check‑ins with workstream leads, track commitments, surface blockers, and maintain momentum.
  • Prepare leadership updates: progress reports, decision‑ready materials, visibility on program momentum.
  • Build reusable assets such as frameworks, templates, and playbooks to make the transformation scalable and repeatable.

Go client‑facing (6 months+)

  • Join AI transformation engagements with enterprise customers using methodologies you helped shape.
  • Execute AI opportunity assessments: capability mapping, use case discovery, scoring, C‑suite presentations.
  • Build client relationships and become a trusted advisor to CIOs and business leaders.

Is there a match?

You are a strong fit if you have:

  • 4–8 years in management consulting, IT consulting, or transformation programs.
  • Strong program management instincts: structure, progress tracking, accountability, without bureaucracy.
  • Comfort with ambiguity; shaping the work as things evolve.
  • AI literacy; understanding where GenAI and agentic AI bring value vs. hype.
  • Excellent communication skills: strong written updates, confident workshops with senior stakeholders.
  • A hands‑on mentality; you build drafts, iterate quickly, and don’t wait for the perfect brief.

Nice to have

  • Experience in AI or digital transformation programs
  • ERP or enterprise technology consulting background
  • Familiarity with capability mapping and value frameworks
  • Experience with C‑level stakeholders
