Industry 4.0 in manufacturing

Barriers, breakthroughs, and paradigm shifts in manufacturing

Discover how to boost your Industry 4.0 investments in manufacturing

Manufacturers are investing heavily in Industry 4.0 technologies (such as the Internet of Things (IoT), AI, and Big Data), expecting transformative results. Yet many experience only gradual improvements and limited return on investment.

To understand why, the University of Antwerp, delaware, Flanders' FOOD, and VLAIO launched a research project. The result: a content library of 15 in-depth reports tailored to the manufacturing industry, in collaboration with Flanders Make. These reports reveal the three biggest barriers to transformation and introduce 10 paradigm shifts that can help companies unlock the full potential of Industry 4.0.
