Progress on the DEL20 experiments: At SuperNova in March, we selected seven standout DEL20 Experiments. Now, you’ll hear directly from the clients leading these initiatives as they share their progress, insights, and early results.
Innovation in Antwerp: On stage, Sylvianne Van Butsele and Leen Anthuenis will highlight how innovation is being designed, built, and tested today — with insights from the Antwerp Innovation Powerhouse and the SuperNova showcase.

Erwin Verstraelen

As VP Innovation at the Port of Antwerp - Bruges, he drives the port’s leap into the future of technology. From drones and smart cameras to autonomous ships and digital twins, he’s at the forefront of testing and bringing them to life. He also co-founded The Beacon, a hub where groundbreaking IoT ideas turn into real-world impact.

Sylvianne Van Butsele

Sylvianne builds Antwerp’s innovation capacity by creating ecosystems in chemistry, digital tech, health-tech, fashion, and even diamonds. She helped launch BlueChem, The Beacon and Dunden, and today she drives the Antwerp Innovation Powerhouse.

Leen Anthuenis

Leen heads SuperNova and Scale-ups.eu, where she empowers entrepreneurs by strengthening teams, processes and focus. With hands-on experience in scaling companies, she now brings startups, scale-ups and corporates together – accelerating collaboration and driving innovation forward..
