SAP AG

Since 2002, LP. is a Business Partner of the SAP-AG. Besides the partnership in sales and marketing, LP. works together with SAP-Solution Management for the verticals Print (SAP for Media) and Packaging (SAP for Mill Products). The strategic cooperation with SAP enables an optimal and foresight coordination of our solution and our services with the SAP product portfolio. In addition, the partnership integrates us into the global SAP Partner network and enables us, to engage additional resources whenever required. In our international projects we cooperate with local partners for the localization and implementation of our solution.

EskoArtwork is the worldwide market leader with pre-production and collaboration software for packaging buyers, designers and manufacturers. Its portfolio of software products integrates graphic, structural and process management functions for packaging, label, sign and display applications.

MAN Roland Druckmaschinen AG

MAN Roland Druckmaschinen AG is the world's second largest printing systems manufacturer and the world's market leader in web offset printing. MAN Roland operates out of Offenbach, Mainhausen, Augsburg and Plauen in Germany. It employs a staff of almost 9,000 and has annual sales of almost 2 billion Euros, with an export share of 84%. Web and sheetfed offset presses as well as digital printing systems are the major product lines for publishing, commercial, and packaging printing. The field of business ranges from small-format sheetfed presses to production systems for newspaper printing in runs of millions.
LP. and MAN Roland have signed a strategic partner agreement for the JDF-integration of the MAN Roland printnet products with LP.Packaging. The output of this work was the worldwide first JDF-JMF-Integration of a sheetfed printing press with SAP ERP, implemented for the first time at the common customer Rondo AG.

Bobst Group

LP. and the Bobst Group have together developed the worldwide first JDF-JMF-Integration of a die-cutting- and folding-gluing machine with SAP ERP, implemented for the first time at the common customer Rondo AG.

CIP4

The International Cooperation for the Integration of Processes in Prepress, Press and Postpress Organization (CIP4) is a not-for-profit association and is registered with the U.S. Department of Justice and the Federal Trade Commission as a Standards Development Organization. CIP4 is established in Switzerland, it has no regular offices; rather is a global organization with representatives in several countries. CIP4 brings together vendors, consultants and end-users in the print communications, Graphic Arts industry, and associated sectors, covering a variety of equipment, software, peripherals, and processes. Members participate in focused working groups to define future versions of Job Definition Format (JDF), to study user requirements, and to design a JDF Software Development Kit (SDK). Currently the CIP4 Organization has 309 members.
LP. is proud to contribute one representative of the advisory board of CIP4, the highest authority of the CIP4 organization. The advisory board is elected by members with full membership for a period of 2 years.

JDF (Job Definition Format) is a standardised data-format to simplify the interchange and communication between different applications and systems of the graphic industry. JDF was presented and founded in 2000 together of Adobe Systems, Agfa-Gevaert Gruppe, Heidelberger Druckmaschinen and MAN Roland Druckmaschinen. The missed consistency of the presystems as the Print Production Format (PPF) - CIP3 and from Adobe Systems developed Portable Job Ticket Format (PJTF) was passed and the standardisation was advanced. JDF base on XML-technologies and enable a consistent Job-Ticket-Specification in combination with a standardised messaging-type and -protocol.
JDF will advance trough CIP4-Organisation (The International Cooperation for the Integration of Processes in Pre-press, Press and Post-press) in which beside LP. worldwide approx. 300 companies and organisations work together.
