LP.Packaging for Folding Carton and POS-Displays

Modern folding cartons are essential image carriers for the brand of the packed product. With an innovative design they are supposed to release a purchase impulse at the consumer. But the different types and figures of packaging, printing and finishing variants and the usage in the food- and pharmaceutical industry require highest demands to product development-, planning-, production- and distribution processes.

LP.Packaging for Folding Carton and POS-Displays supports you with a wide range of innovative solution components to optimize your logistic and finance processes, for example:

  • Collecting the packaging specification requested by the customer using customizable interactive Adobe forms which the sales representative maintains offline and tranfers into an inquery in LP. Packaging when a connection to the system is available.
  • Quotation costing with an online integration to EskoArtwork CAD-X-System for the automated calculation and optimization of the one-up design, sheet layout and tooling.
  • CAD based sheet layout impositioning and calculation for different technical single products ( combined printing of different sizes),
  • JDF-integration of EskoArtwork Backstage Workflow-Server for electronic data exchange and status monitoring of prepress orders for graphic design and printing tools with LP.Packaging,
  • The EskoArtwork Webcenter makes it possible to implement a complete digital development workflow, wich for example synchronizes customer approvals such as release to production or printing proof with the customer order management and production planning in LP.Packaging via JDF interfaces.
  • LP.Solution Component “Combined Printing” visualizes all kinds of combined production (different printing design but same size, respectively different sizes) consideration of all influences to post calculation and profit analysis,
  • LP.Solution Component “Sequence Planning” for pre-structuring orders sequences for production with the objective of selecting orders using the same tools, the same color rules and printing plates to schedule these orders in a combination of back to back printing and/or combined printing to optimize the set up time. During sequence planning, quantities and shortage in quantities due to imposition will be calculated automatically to display anticipated over and under delivery risks. Sequence dependent sales prices can be calculated based on the optimized set up imposition of orders.
  • LP.Solution Component “SAP-JDF-Interface” enables a direct PDC/EDC integration of all prepress, press and postpress management systems with LP.Packaging. Product specific and job based data will be transferred as JDF from LP. Packaging to preset printing and postpress machines. During production, confirmation data and status messages are send to the interface as JMF(Audits) for import in LP.Packaging.
