Dr. Lauterbach & Partner (LP.) wins first Flexibles Packaging Customer in South America.

The South American based Packaging Producer ALUSA Flexibles Packaging Solutions has selected SAP ERP based industry solution LP.Packaging for Flexibles during an supplier evaluation process started earlier this year.

Alusa produces Flexibles Packaging for South- and Zentral America and operates besides the parent plant in Santiago de Chile two other production facilities in San Luis (Argentinien) and in Lima (Peru). Alusa belongs to the Chilean based Madeco Group. Besides flexible packaging, Madeco is a diversified group of manufacturing companies focused on the production of copper and aluminum products to supply the mining, industry, energy, construction and telecommunications sectors of the economy in the Americas, Europe and Asia.
Starting with the parent plant in Santiago de Chile, LP. and the In-house consulting team of the Madeco Group will roll-out the solution also in the two production facilities in Argentinia and Peru.
